Best way from Panama City to Santa Catalina with surfboards?
I split time between the city and Santa Catalina and still argue with myself about transport. Has anyone done the overnight bus with two boards recently, or is a shared shuttle worth the extra cost? Looking for real timing and how rough the last stretch gets in rainy season. Spanish still a work in progress for me, so English-friendly tips appreciated.

From a logistics angle: if you have more than one board, a private transfer or a shuttle that confirms board capacity beats hoping the last Albrook bus has roof space. Soft cases help. Measure board bags before you book a sedan. For shared rides, message the driver the night before with length and count. Overnight bus can work for one shortboard if the company allows it in writing; longboards are riskier. Not glamorous, just fewer broken fins.
